Kim Jae Wook was casted as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the musical “Amadeus” in 2018, first in double cast alongside Jo Jung Seok and then Kim Sunggyu was added making it triple cast.

The musical “Amadeus” was performed at BBC Hall in Apgujeong Gwangrim Art Center in Seoul starting February 27th to April 29th, 2018. It was directed by Lee Ji Na, the same director of “Hedwig and The Angry Inch” in 2011 where Jo Jung Seok and Kim Jae Wook were also casted playing Hedwig.

The play “Amadeus” was first created by imagination of the British playwright Peter Shepher (1926-2016), and dealt with the contrasting life of Mozart, an innate music genius, and Salieri, who was suffering from his commonplace. Playing Antonio Salieri were actor Ji Hyun Joon, Han Ji-sang, and Lee Chung-ju who also took turns on stage.
