Hello! This is me.

I’ve been a long time fans of Kim Jae Wook around 10 years, since 2009. My first encounter with him is in Coffee Prince drama. But I fell for him when I watch Antique in 2009 and became a fan.

I watch almost all his projects and read interviews and updates about him. It’s fun. I used to be a silent fan until Her Private Life began. There are growing fans for Kim Jae Wook after Her Private Life. The people who just started fangirling usually want to know many things about him but the sources are limited and scattered. That’s where I came in. When I watch Her Private Life, seeing Deokmi as a fansite master, I was inspired. Why not make a fansite about Jae wook? I am not unfamiliar with a fansite before. I used to follow the updates from some fansites but usually I am the one to take from them. But now I decide to give informations. After all, fangirling is better done together, right?

Being a longtime fan, I know quite a lot from my search all these times and I am quite good at gathering informations. So it’s time to pour all these things out. After seeing the scene on the last episode of Her Private Life where at the train track, Deokmi said she’s becoming Ryan Gold (Heo Yeon Jae)’s fan instead and suggest a nickname “Ranagil, Heonagil, Jaenagil?” I instantly decided on the name, Jaenagil (Jae = Jae Wook – Na = My – Gil = Way), which translation is more popular as Jae Wook is My Life instead of Jae Wook is My Way.

Jaenagil (Jae Wook is My Life) is a proper name for a fansite. Although it’s not unique as there are a lot of different people out there using this name on various social medias, I couldn’t think of a more proper name for a fansite.

So as soon as Her Private Life finished airing at the end of May, began my journey as a fansite master for Kim Jae Wook as I made this blog on June 1st, 2019. I hope this site could help many people to get into Kim Jae Wook and his awesome persona as an actor and as a person.

I also involve myself in subbing projects for Kim Jae Wook’s videos as translator, timer, encoder, uploader, etc, cooperating with different people. At first, I asked one fellow fan to make a fansub team for Kim Jae Wook related video and she agreed and we named it JWookTeam. Then one person joined as encoder. I decided to recuit more people, so 4 other persons joined. I hope JWookTeam will be able to help more international fans to understand what Jae Wook said.
